• Check what condition the machine is in with a thorough evaluation and photos from the seller. What work does the used access platform for sale need? Will it be easy to service your MEWP? How many hours has the MEWP done? If the seller cannot give you answers to your questions move on.
• Are you confident you are paying a fair price for your used MEWP? Used access platforms vary enormously in condition and age and if your aerial platform seller is experienced they will be able to explain pricing and compare machines you are interested in with others. If you are buying more than one machine it may be possible to make savings in some circumstances, so do ask.
